Galnet Internet Services have invested time and money into making sure our sites rank highly within the major search engines. However there seems to be a lot of confusion over what Search Engine Optimisation means and what it can and can not achieve.
Search Engine Optimisation is trying to make your site best suited to provide the search engines with an easy means of indexing your site quickly and sufficiently into their databases. The easier a site is to read in the eyes of a search engine, the higher the potential it will rank better within their results for the specific keyword used by the end user.
Simple changes to a site such as adding keywords relevant to the page content can increase the pages change of ranking that bit higher, another means is by adding content rich wording to that page. However keyword overloading will decrease the chances of that page ranking high. (more…)
